Brief History of the Church
The Solid Foundation Chapel is a loving, caring, and multi-cultural Christian church that meets locally, regionally, and internationally, as a body of believers to worship, fellowship, teach, pray, encourage one another in the faith, and serve the needs of our communities.
This gives us the opportunity to experience Christ as He builds up His Body, the Church Universal (1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
Our Mission
The Church’s mission is to raise an army of spirit-filled, Bible-believing Christians who will share the love of Jesus Christ with the world (2 Timothy 2:2; Mark 16:15- 18).
Our Vision
The Solid Foundation Chapel was with absolute humility and total dedication that the founders, Reverend Dr. Samuel Ahenasi Otoo, and Reverend Mercy Otoo, accepted the call of the Holy Spirit to start a Church that will not only worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, but also pursue aggressive discipleship to help believers grow into maturity in Christ.
Both Pastors Sam and Mercy had previously worked in different Christian fellowships and churches to help people find Jesus and grow in Him. During that period, they learned to depend on the Holy Spirit, be accountable to the Lord, work from God’s agenda, and to move people from where they are to where God wants them to be. Their transformation into servant leaders became apparent. And so we can safely say that the Lord prepared his servant and maidservant, equipped them with wisdom and understanding of the work they will eventually embark on, and filled them with the qualities needed to pastor the The Solid Foundation Chapel.
