What we Do

HOME GROUPS

These are small groups (cells) that are formed in every neighborhood where some church members live. Groups are designed to promote fellowship and spiritual growth.

MEN’S GROUP

The men of valor meet once a month to pray together, discuss the word of God, and organize seminars and workshops that promote their interests. Meetings are open to all men—both married and single.

WOMEN’S GROUP

The virtuous women of the church come together at designated times (monthly) to share the word of God, pray, and pursue goals of interest to their gender.

KINGDOM KIDS

All children under 12 years old are part of this group have designated Sunday school instructor teach them biblical truths. Lessons are made relevant to the children’s age group.

YOUNG ADULTS GROUP

Members are between ages 18 and 24. They meet once a month and at designated times when they’ve to plan for special events. The vision for this team is to train them to have a biblical worldview so that they can apply biblical truths to their daily lives. This will help them to overcome some the countless challenges young adults face

YOUTH MOVEMENT

Boys and girls between ages 12 and 17 constitute this group. They meet on Sunday mornings to be instructed on biblical truths. Practical lessons are given to help them learn how to adopt a biblical perspective of life.

FOUNDATION WORSHIP TEAM

This team leads all worship and praise sessions during our church services. Members are required to attend regular rehearsals once a week to learn new songs, pray together, and prepare for their spiritual task of uplifting God’s people as they worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:2).

ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT

The financial policies set by the SFC Board are implemented by this department. Members are responsible for counting, recording, and banking church monies.

THE MEDIA

Members with interest in computers, web design, programming, photography, filming, recording, etc. are warmly welcome to share their expertise in this ministry. Light training is required to assume any responsibilities.

CHAMPIONS OF PRAYER

This ministry is set up for members who have the interest and the calling to engage in intercessory prayers for the church. Some key requirements to be part of this team are dedication, love, compassion, and humility. It is open to all church members. Each applicant must be prepared for a light training at the beginning and more training periodically.

COUPLES’ FELLOWSHIP

Married members of the church meet quarterly to talk about marriage. They learn new things about marital relationships, communicate godly perspectives about marriage, and share their own personal experiences regarding the maintenance of a Christian marriage. Attendants are candid and transparent. All meeting nights involve praying, eating, and having fun.
